BAD CALLS in Pool ... FOULS that Weren't Called

The shooter is on the 8 ball. He is frozen to an obstructing ball. In the league here, he is allowed to shoot through per the frozen ball rule and further allowed to pocket the 8 for the win or at least make legal contact on that shot. The logic being the frozen obstruction is a non entity.
That seems a bit “odd.” Obviously, you are not allowed to do this under the WPA “official rules of pool.”

Drunken logic. It was a small league - 50 people, a few beginners but mostly veteran novices. The smarter players knew not to freeze the ball on a safety. They haven't reformed in a couple years but they might have a new crop on the way. My two cents will be World Standard rules (whatever those are :D)

Here is three fouls that was missed. I thought the first player was going to lock up his opponent at two fouls but the third happened by chance.

Is this a bad hit? It's one of those situations where the action of the balls isn't a perfect indicator.

Yes. A foul. Live i would not call it though. Too hard to be sure and i would give shooter edge then.

I think that's true if you were seated, but if you were the referee and positioned to watch the hit, the call may have been clear.

However, there was no visible ref.
