This is a shaft a lady came in with and wanted us to fix:eek: We sold her a new shaft and used the joint collar from the other one just like new.

That is halarious. You wouldn't believe (Maybe you do) the stuff people bring into us. Shattered slate, cue sticks claiming it is high dollar. (Especially Budweiser cues).

LMAO

Sure just a bit of steam and some 600 sandpaper and that shaft will look like new....

WOW, how could she leave it in a place her dog could get it? I assume it was leaning up against a wall and the dog knocked it over? I also assume that she has a table at home since the cue was not in a case which means the cue would have been better off left on the table rather then leaning up against a wall.

Frankly, she should have seen this coming, treat your cue good and your cue will treat you good, treat your cue bad and bad things will happen to your cue.

All in all though, interesting pics. Glad I keep my cues in the case or on the pool table when not in use.

This was the 1st thing that came to my mind when I saw the original post. I don't have a dog but if I did, there's no way he could do this to my cue. It stays in it's case.

The only thing as close to being as dumb as leaving it out for the dog to get is thinking that it could be "fixed". :D

Maybe She Did Not Want Her Husband To Find Out ?
Whether she's leaving the cue out for the dog to chew on or she's letting the car run out of oil and throwing a rod... the hubby is gonna find out!

:p

It wasn't me!!!

Ruff Ruff ....

Dang that is one cute dog.

Speaking of Budweiser cues, they happen to be my favorite, with a predator chaft .......

I was at TJ Max the other day - its a discount store - while checking out what happened to catch my eye .... an IRON MAIDEN cue. I started laughing inside and thinking GEEZ , some poor sucker .....
LOW AND BEHOLD ..... a few weeks later Im doing some drills at this local place called Jullians and some kid walks in with that Iron Maiden stick lookin ready to take on the IPT. I almost asked if he wanted to play some cheap 9 ball, then I thought, watch this be a road player and his whole gimic is that stick.......... IRON MAIDEN STICK $15 .... seeing someone shoot with it .... PRICELESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHA-CHING:D

Just for your info the cue was in a case and the dog chewed the case up and got the shaft out. The butt of the cue was O.K

I've had two dogs in my life that chewed on things.... shoes, clothes, anything of any value was put out of reach of the dog...including my cue case. ;)
