In the last couple of days when trying to open some threads I am receiving the "Bad Gateway 502" notice. So, basically, those threads are unable to be opened.

Yet most threads can be opened.

I've seen others mention this before but never read if there was ever a reason found on why it happens or more important, how to fix it.

Is this currently happening to anyone else?

Is there a fix?

thx,
brian kc

What worked for me:
Log out
clear your cache
Log back in

Not sure why, but it seems the AZB servers want you to login every so often.

Google is your friend.........

Chrome
Select the following: Browsing history. Download history. Cookies and other site and plug-in data. Cached images and files. ...
Click Clear browsing data.
Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.

How do I clear my cache in Internet Explorer 10?
Step 1Delete Your Temp Files. To start with the basic temporary file cleanup, go to the Start Screen and type "disk." ...
Step 2Delete Your Internet Explorer History. ...
Step 3Clear the Windows Store Cache. ...
Step 4Clear Your Windows Search History. ...
Step 5Clear Your Live Tile Cache.

Hate to sound stupid but what is your "cache" and how do you clear it?

it's a section of memory that your browser has - and it keeps various things like passwords stored, pictures from pages you've visited etc. (it helps speed up your loading time when you've already been to that page once).

To clear it - depends on your browser:
In Google Chrome: Click the little (vertical) 3 dot icon in upper right corner - click on settings - scroll down to bottom of the page and click on the "show advanced settings", then click on the clear browser data"

In Internet Explorer:
click on the little gear shaped icon at top right - pick "Internet Options" . Then on the "General" tab, click the "Delete" button under the "Browsing history" section.

In MS Edge:
click on the (horizontal) 3 dot icon - scroll down to and click "Settings" - scroll down to "Clear Browsing Data", and click on the "choose what to clear" button.

If you have some other browser - drop me a PM and I'll try to find the info for you.

I find it strange when I use Google to find an AZ thread.....only on my computer...
....and Avast flips out on me so I won't open it.

Never happens on my IPads.

Avast is a good free AV - but does generate a lot of false positives.
I use KIS (Kaspersky) - and it gives me issues with online shopping sometimes.

It did for a while for me.
I got a new phone. No issues.
Good thread and answers! Definitely gonna save this.
