If it is the absolute slightest bow and or close to the end of the shaft it might be able to be turned down, but the shaft will play a lot different and or it will only be usable by Oscar Dominguez....

Some cuemakers have developed tricks that allow them to correct a shaft with some success. I tend to feel thats its wood, therefore has memory and very well may return more often than not. For that reason I don't spend time trying to get one straight...for me it just seems wiser to simply replace it. Send a pm to Manwon...he's quite knowledgeable on the subject and I could be wrong, but if memory serves me correctly I believe he's had some success getting them to stay straight.:smile:
 
bad shaft-bent

It IS possible to correct a small bend in a shaft by bending it back to straight... IF the shaft is pretty new and still has some "excess" moisture in it! Older wood, no chance!
