Balabushka on ebay

How would you feel if someone won the auction, paid for the cue based on your endorsement, only to get stiffed?

closing price

I was real happy with the closing price!! I'd rather be the robber than the robbee... :) He was going to have to put the cue in my hands to get the money. That Pete Sr. comment did give me a glimmer of hope, but I wasn't going to put all my chips on it. I've had a couple of deals like this pay off. You just have to be careful and use a middleman if you are unsure or can't verify yourself. This forum is the best place in the world to get information on Ebay cue auctions. Thanks to all of you.

Please feel free to email me next time if you have concerns. I appreciate that.

Tasc Wrote the Letter

I'm sure Tasc wrote the letter and the letter matched the cue. The owner then sold the cue on eBay. The scammers leeched the pics and description for that legit auction and "resold" that same cue with that same letter about 20 times. I'm not sure just how Tasc was supposed to know the seller in this case was legit as you maintain, however I'm sure he did remember the cue and the letter he wrote. This is probably one of the reasons Barry Szamboti doesn't write letters of authenticity.

Did anybody really believe that a seller knowledgeable enough to write that detailed description would then neglect to put the word "Balabuska" in his title?

Kevin
