A friend of mine is curious about the value of this cue. He has had it since 1972. Any help would be appreciated. It is 100% original with 2 shafts.

About $200, I would guess. I'll go double, just because it's the holiday season, and give him $400 blind.

No need to thank me...I'm here to help!! :) :)

I know less than nothing about Bushka cues...but I would hazard a guess that if it's all original, and with the nice rings and inlays, it's gotta be close to 5 digits, right??

Very nice example. I would say the value,if authenticated, would be between $18 and $20k.

(Also a pic of the joint would be nice too)

I would say a bit more with the ringwork and inlays...
$25K minimum

Amen. Authentication is the key to getting a fair price. That said if it is Authentic I will give $401.00.

If I was your friend I would give it to my friend.

A Bushka of that beauty.....wow....hold out for $30K minimum. A serious collector who really wants that for their collection (and many will because that is phenomenal) would probably have no qualms about paying the money for that cue.

I've known a few collectors in areas outside of billiards, and when they find something rare and beautiful they will pay what they have to pay to own it, without a second thought. I say that not as an insult, but as a compliment - because they're not buying the item to re-sale but to cherish, display, share with friends (like posting pics on AZ), and pass on.

Take it to Tascarella for authentication.

i have bought 5 the last 8 months and paid 15,000 -18,000, some are a little nicer than yours and some are about the same, does it have origonal shafts?, letter from tascrallea to verify its the reak deal?, you might know it is, but come time to sell it that letter is golden(if you dont have origonal papers). it looks like a good cue. if the shafts are origonal that arnt wore out, and a letter-if necessary, origonal shipping box-i mean everything you might get 19k unless things have happened in the market since I bought my last one, I'm also assuming its perfectly straightshafts included. Its a nice piece congrats. But like I said unless thisgs went up hard thereis no wway its 30 dimes unless it has history...

12k-15k nice rings but not many inlays.

I have a Meucci with OB1 shaft, Z2 and Black Dot to trade with that cue.
