what would be the difference in ball quality of the super aramith tournament set and the super aramith pro cup and the super aramith delux carom sets

id personally prefer a good set without the measels

input
experiences?

None to speak of. The deluxe doesn't delineate between the 2 cue balls enough for my liking. I've been known to shoot the wrong cue ball from time to time. It's all preference. I myself have the opposite opinion. I think the red ball should be spotted as well. With spots there are times the ball may moved and you can tell it did because of the spot.

I totally agree with you Steve with respect to the red ball. It comes up more often than one thinks it would. And for us half-blind fellows, we need all the help we can get.

And perhaps a nice set with 2 white cue balls, one with red measles and one with yellow, and a red measle ball would be a welcomed addition to their line. Just my $.02

Steve, have you seen the SA 5-ball set being played? I just saw them on their website and will now look to see if there are any videos of it being played. Seems interesting to me as they are tailored them to introduce younger generations to caroms.

Interestingly enough Saluc makes a red carom ball with white spots. I wanted to incorporate that ball with the sets we order when I was on the USBA board. We would have been the only national organization with all three balls being measled in the world.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. You would think they would incorporate it with their other sets or create a new set. I would think there are people out there, other than you and I, that would benefit from it. Thanks for the find Steve.

Where can I get a set of balls with spots on the red ball as well, I like it, Like you said it will help to know if it moves in some situations, Thank You.

Luc Verhoeven was kind enough to contact Saluc Aramith for me. They were more than willing to put sets together for me to sell in the U.S. We only needed to order 36 sets. That may seem like a large amount individually speaking but for an organization it is not uncommon to order 50 sets at a time for the tournament season. This is still an option available to my knowledge.
