Didn't the same guy make Pool Hall Junkies?
What did everyone expect?

Where's the smiley that's gagging?

Robert Tobin did not make Pool Hall Junkies.
He is friends with Chris Corso and Mars Callahan who did though.

1. Mars Callahan and Chris Corso wrote Junkies.
2. Mars directed Junkies.
3. Mars co-created the idea of and co-produced Ballbreakers.

I hope this helped clear this up.

I also Tivo the show and love it actually...it's dumb and goofy and the pool players are not that good...but it's exposure for pool. I mean take it as a positive for that at least.

My favorite so far has been the gay guy with the "Hustler" shirt...man I gotta get me one of those...it was written in sparkly sequins. So flaming gay that you could action in a church with that thing!

Of the celebrities, I think Lou Diamond Phillips was my favorite...he could actually play the darn game.

I did see two girls match up, the blond and the other cute girl, and they both played fairly decent...the blond won and nearly lost her top she was jumping up and down so much.

Hey...it's cheesy and not that great of pool...but it's still POOL.

New shows?

I have searched the web and found nothing. Does anyone know if thye are going to continue this or has it been cancelled?

Do I sense some snobbishness among the AZBers? I have no problem with ballbreakers, especially if you just look at it as a game show. I actually find the show watchable and often enjoyable. Sure, you have to laugh at some of the players, how they run their racks, and how great they think they are. But c'mon, this is NOT a professional competitition and has never potrayed itself to be one. Just because we know "better" doesn't mean the game is horrible. Just take it as it is...a game show. You'll enjoy it if you stop thinking that you can crush all the contestants on the show. Don't be so snobby!
