Banking with the beard?

They weren't sure if what is in the book is a duplication of what they already have. I suggested they could take a look before they buy it.
I hear ya, I was saying just buy the book to support their efforts. Thirty bucks shouldn't break anyone I hope.

Bank on brother.

Angle correlates with shot speed, doesnt it?
Very much so but you can pivot off these elements to achieve multiple results.
Angle A @ Speed A = landing B
Angle A @ Speed A+1 = landing B - 1

Angle A -1 @ Speed A = landing B - 1 as well

and so on...

If you add another element - lateral english you'd have a very busy arithmetic table

and so forth...

All fundamental facts - How much can you stand?

I visualize the equal angle and adjust aim from that for hit.

I do that for the skinny ones where the exits are in the shooting field. I tend to pass the others.

One aiming trick that helps me is offsetting the angle line to what becomes the outside of the ball on the exit line.

??????!!!!
The fact that a bank shot played harder doesn't always go shorter has been in print for 30 or 40 years. I'm sure Dr. Dave has a video illustrating that. On some tables, certain one-rail banks will bank a little longer when hit hard.

It's been years since I read it, but I recall most of the banks in the book are for bank pool, not one pocket. (firm vs pocket speed).

I personally didn't care for the book. Too "system" based for my tastes.

His stories I liked a ton. I forget if there were any in that book, or if they were all in the "Gospel, According to the Beard" book.

Damn I'm definitely not a systems player either, that is not what I would have expected. Don't know if I'm gonna dig the book.
