Bar Rescue - Griff's Las Vegas - Anyone watching?

This particular Bar Rescue was not a full scale rescue, it was just a Wash, Polishs, and Minor Tune Up. If most of Bar Rescue were this boring as the one at Griff's the show would have been off Paramount 10 years ago.
I went looking for the show after seeing this thread and have to agree with you. I actually quit watching after about 10 minutes. Griffs looks like a great room, but god, that was a terrible episode of bar rescue!

The bar rescue guy now knows more about successful pool halls. That's a good thing. He's influential.

I'm guessing he's going to use that knowledge elsewhere to improve pool. Something besides putting xmas lights under the tables.

Well if Taffer wants rescue Pool rooms, Pool bars, or Sports Bars with Pool.

Arizona has some needing Taffer’s expert help.

Sounds like a way to get some free publicity at the expense of “exposing” your weaknesse.

Plus upgrade to business for free. I am sure the Checf & Bar Tending ex;pert could both have consulting business, helping people. Most business owner would love to have a Taffer Rescue, and goodies.

Taffer has the on-air personality of guys you normally meet in bars and pool rooms. Likeable in his own way. I don’t think any other personality could pull this off. I bet he’s got a million stories from being in the hospitality busines. He’s as much an entertainer as a business consultant.

The rerun that ran much later was more like it. Owner has a habit of taking girls in the back room for fun in a dive bar he owns and runs with his wife. He also had a playmate on staff too and tried his "magic" on the two girls that Taffer sent in to check the place out. Scripted? LOL most likely but entertaining in a train wreck sort of way.

Taffer reminds me of an out of control USMC Drill Instructor.

Some are successful, some are not. Sooner of later their bad conduct catches up with them, and they get busted.

To bad the show was not about the pool hall. It was more about the food, drinks and Gary. I felt bad for Gary. I’m sure he was incompetent when it came to running a first class bar and restaurant but I’m not sure embarrassing him on this show was the right way to remove him. I wish both Gary and Greg good luck and hope Griffs is around for years to come.

I just happen to be in LV this week. Stopped by today and saw the “saved” plaque behind the bar. Seems like a class establishment. Don’t know about the food because we ate at the Korean BBQ next door first and were stuffed. Diamond tables played fast and true and the wallabushka selection was well maintained.

Well Tapper is not a pool guy. He is a bar and restaurant guy so it would make sense for the show to focus more on that.
