Does anyone know the seller of the Barenbrugge thats on EBay? That same seller also has a Scruggs listed.

Its looks like the feedback on the seller is very old.

I believe this is a fraud. I emailed this person twice asking him if he would use an escrow to sell the cue.. He never replied. Feedback is so old I believe the account was hijacked. The Scruggs cue he has is also suspect by people here on AZ....

I wanted to raise the possiblity of possible scam but was not 100% comfortable doing so. I knew that experienced buyers and sellers on this forum would have already been watching these two auctions.

In speaking with BaronBurger yesterday, he is 97 1/2 percent sure its a scam auction. He mentioned that the last time the cue was sold, the same write up was used.

That's a scam

That's a scam. The auction format is one used by a scam ring that is pretty common in cues.

I agree

Just looked at the feedback and all of the feedbacks are for a buyer not a seller. Has anyone talked to ebay on this one?

Shouldn't you be looking for golf stuff instead?? :D

edit - I reported that auction to ebay and got back "based upon our findings, this is a legitimate auction" or something to that effect....

This was the last auction I'm going to report to Ebay. They won't do anything about phonies until one of these days they'll get busted for allowing fraud. Heck they make money off of fraud so that can't be legal.

The last time this cue sold for real it had a fresh refinish and sold for 5k.

I'm curious about this Maker. Prolly should pull out the BB or something. I've heard his name just enough times to peak my interest.
