Here is a look at Barry Szamboti's #500 cue..
This is an incredible Rosewood barbell cue...
Notice the Gold dots..
This is just stunning..
I'm sure Gus is up there smiling seeing this cue:)

Wow, this cue is beyond reason!!! I can only hope that I can see it in person someday. :smile: :smile: :smile:

Saw this baby up at Barry's with the inlay pockets cut. That's such a fantastic piece of rosewood....perfect choice for such a special cue. The rest ain't too shaby either !! Wow, what an awesome looking cue. :thumbup:

Well you have done it again. You must enjoy inflicting so much pain to your felow AZer's. Another incredible masterpiece you have acquired. Hope you have it at KC, so everyone can drool on it. Congrats and hope you have much enjoyment with your new toy.

Its an amazing cue with alot of work in it, but i must be the only one that thinks its ugly. Id still love to own it though.
 
Wowza!!!

This cue is a masterpiece as befits a milestone cue. The inlay pattern creatively flows and is unique. Nice job, Barry.

I would like to claim ownership of this masterpiece.. But, this cue was made for a local friend of mine.. He didn't mind me posting pictures to share with everyone..

thanks for putting up the pics, I have heard alot about that cue, the wrap was giving Barry a hastle.


Barry puts more effort into #100,#200,#300 etc, I'm lucky enough to have #400 and it is stone cold perfect, every veneer is the same length of the other ones on the points the wrap is triple perfect, inlays i mean everything is perfect it looks cnc perfect, I appericate the painstaking work he puts into his regular cues but on his "Special" cues they are amazing and a step up from his regular cues. I'm lucky enough to have 3 that fall into that catagory,

Cue #500 I would buy in a minute for way more than its worth because of the other cues I own, hint hint ;)

I was really hoping to see pics of it, second to the "Tribute To Gus Cue" it is the second nicest looking Barry cue I have ever seen, 3rd is the Nick Myhilove(SP?) Rosewood 4pt. with peacocks in the points & butt sleve. and 4th is cue #400. This ranking is just my opinion as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I want to be the beholder of #500 hint hint ;) .


First congrats to Barry for building this work of art, Gus would be so proud of Barry, Barry has carried the family name well and this is one more celebration of that-this is something that I can relate to as I'm a only child and lost my parents who were my best friends and I carry on in there honor, that to me is more important than anything, same for Barry. And secondly congrats to the owner of this cue and thanks for letting Ken post the pics. And thanks to Ken for posting them, Ken is ok too ;).

I know the deal, i'm not in a rush, one Gus took me 16 years to finally wear the guy down and he caved in and sold it to me. So as you can see I have alot of patience. I'm in no hurry. If it never happens thats cool too as I'm happy for the gentalman who ownes it,

I was talking to Barry and he said he was working on his 500th cue back in April. It just totally exceeded what I had envisioned, he said it would be special. WOW! Thanks for sharing the pics Ken!

i was just talking to the other ken about the tribute to gus cue at the borgata this weekend. thats also my favorite... hands down. i hope were talking about the same cue. BEM with ebony boxes peacocks propellers diamonds lazy z's and barbells. just about every szamboti signature inlay
