I have this Barry Szamboti.. contacted years ago to have refinished and get a COA, long story short I did get a reply, believed it was one of his cues, rare wrap, etc, busy, and would reach back out when he had the time.

Crickets.

Now I understand he's basically retired.

Looking for advice, as I would love to have this gem refinished and have a COA, just in case some day I decide to sell it.

THanks!

I'm sorry, but I had to retire because of poor health.
I had a Liver transplant this year and I hope that soon I will be able to finish cues in progress.
I can not take in anything from people, I'm sorry.

When I started making cues full time, 2/8/1990 my mission was to make the best cue I could and
to NEVER tarnish the name that Dad made. I wanted people to feel like they were a kid on Christmas morning,
getting the toy that they were wishing for, when they got their cue.

I hope that I achieved that wish.
Thank you everyone who took a chance with me.
Respectfully,
Barry Szamboti

I hope you can enjoy life and not worry about pool cues now. Nice that you checked in, the Szamboti name is tarnish free in my book.

I’ve been 🤐 the whole time. I’m happy Barry came here and reported. I was sworn to silence.

Barry is my friend and he cares about the cues and his dad’s legacy as much as a man can. Barry succeeded above and beyond what most men can do. Gus & Barry are the greatest of the greats.

He’s got a long happy retirement to enjoy and that’s something he earned and I’m very happy for him. 💪🫡🙏🏼 What’s better than that?

Best
