basic custom Sneaky Pete's under $400

Diveney is a great choice. You can order one direct from him for under $400 and they are great playing cues and Pat is a great guy to deal with.
 
I have some Steve Klapp true sneakies with 140 year old growth shafts and old growth Schmelke blanks from the 1940s. Best ingredients you can get in a cue, period. Listed at $375. PM me if you are interested, maybe we can work out a deal.

Sneaky Pete's from Keith Josey at Josey Custom Cues are around the $400 mark. They play amazing.
 
Let's not forget Pierce. And I'll second Klapp as well. Both of those guys have a stash of shaft wood that is just plain awesome. Snowmon34 should have another Pierce sneaky up for sale soon. The Klapp cue I hit with was a house cue conversion and played great. But all great suggestions so far. Just be careful, because Sneaky Pete's are the gateway drug of cue collecting. Next thing you know you'll own one from every maker mentioned so far, lol
