I See Where He Won Again Yall Keep Bashin Him But This Guy Can Gin It And Thats All I Have To Say On That Topic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have said it before and will say it again. Danny has earned the right to be called one of the very best in the pro game. Let's hope this is the beginning of good things to come in 2005.

First place in $25,000-added Joss Tour Season Finale, first place in the Reno Open, second place in Glass City Open, second place in UPA Bicycle event, and now first place in the Ocean State Open. I think the less-than-one-year statistics speak for themselves.

Danny Basavich is having a very good year, and 2005 has just begun!

a run in with mr delicious...

Sometime in 2001 I get a call about some road player in town. He's at this hole in the wall with some bar tables. I go down there.

I catch his name, Danny, and he's with his uncle from Alabama. However he is from up north (I don't remember the exact location). I'm no champ but I like to play. I don't know him. He doesn't know me. What the hell. We quickly start in on a race to 9 for $200.

I win the toss. Then I commence breaking and running the first 5. First set goes down 9-4, my way. So like anyone who just has a stranger put a 5 pack on them... He asked to double the bet. Yikes!

Well, the second set his break comes alive and it goes his way. Man can this guy break! I happily bow out even. I didn't know this guy but I knew I didn't want to play him.

Well, a few weeks later I'm browsing some pool site and who's picture would you guess I saw labeled as "Danny 'Kid Delicious' Bassavich"? Ohh yeah, it was him.

And I knew I'd gotten off lucky. Thank god I didn't listen to my backer who was urging me to play more after the second set.
