I agree,Simonis is a great cloth for the big tables, but its the worst cloth for a bar table.

I know I sound like an old curmudgeon but jump sticks should be outlawed. How's that for old school. Younger players never learn how to get out of trouble simply by using the rails. It takes innovation to make a hit sometimes without a jump. It also forces you to learn the table. Played 3 cushion with a young guy a couple months ago and he told me there is too much to think about in this game!
 
Bowling has gotten a lot easier since the Reactive Resin bowling balls...Once the ball passes the oil it starts hooking towards the pins. Back in the 1980's we were lucky if one 300 game was bowled during the year...Now we have 2 to 3 a week....Amazing...
I played nothing but 9 footers forever..But leaques shifted to 7 footers so I did also..
My friend who would beat me more often than I did him on the 9 footers playing 9 ball, can't come close to beating me on the 7 footer in 8 ball...He can't figure out why that is...
