I've been talking with my league operator about what will happen with our league next year.
In Canada, it appears we will have a Canadian CuesSports organization (CCS) that will be affiliated with the American CueSports (ACS) organization in a manner similar to the State organizations. Yep, I know you've always thought of Canada as the 51st State.
If we join the CCS we automatically become members of the ACS.
I suggested that we register our league with both the CCS/ACS and BCA to leave all our options open. I didn't mind paying the extra money as I would probably become an individual BCA member if I'm not a BCA league member.
Turns out if our league registers with BCA we will NOT be eligible to register with CCS/ACS.
Is this restriction purely Canadian or does it apply to the ACS as a whole?
I wonder if the BCA also has such a restriction?
I checked both web sites and could not find anything about multi-league sanctioning.
From information I gleaned from the USPPA web site, it appears that the same league may be registered with the BCA and USPPA.
Anyone have more information?
