During its general membership meeting in Las Vegas, NV., on March 20, 2024, the Billiard Congress of America announced the results of its 2024-2025 Board of Directors elections, which are as follows: Category 1 (Manufacturer/Distributor) Wes Bond (Koda Sports), three-year term Colby Olhausen (Olhausen Mfg), three-year term In the follow-up election of BCA officers, Philippe Singer (The Predator Group) accepted a one-year term as BCA Board Chairman, as did each of the remaining seated officers: Vice Chairman Jacklyn Ady (Brunswick Billiard Group); Secretary Maria Trent-Martinez (Pool Tables Plus of Daytona Beach); and Treasurer Trey Stites (Valley, Dynamo and Champion Shuffleboard). I wonder why there is no mention of promoting the sport of billiards and being a representative to the WPA for North America in the group's description. What tournaments are they hosting? Things have changed with the BCA since 20 years ago. They should update their description and tailor it to industry members only, as well as the name. Billiard Industry Members of America would be better. I truly do not understand how "Congress" fits what they do today.
