Outstanding ending. Thanks for the link. That last shot of the match was superb!
nice match. I do miss all the stuff they had to edit out. 21 games and we only got to see like a quarter of 'em. I also kind of wish they didn't spoil the fact that it goes hill hill. I'd watch regardless.
I wonder what you guys think of one the few missed balls in the set.
To me, the shot here is to roll the 8 in with a medium pace. It's nice equipment, and you don't have to totally baby it in. You can roll a few inches past dead straight on the 9, and you should be fine. You could even cinch it with just a stop shot.
In this case the shooter tried to drill it in at what looked like a pretty high speed. I'm not sure if he drilled it in order to force the cue ball an inch or three sideways to avoid being stuck on the rail, or if he was just trying to do stun follow. The result didn't seem to follow at all, it went mostly sideways. It looks like he had a tiny bit of angle so being stuck on the rail wouldn't have been a factor.
What do you guys think, should he have just rolled it in?

I made that shot a few times today and ended most with nice medium speed(CB a tip out center to 7o'clock) perfect for side.This GAME-shot was too hard
