What you do is ask the seller to take and send you photos of the cue stating this is the condition before shipping.Paypal Goods and Services is no guarantee you won't get scammed. The seller can misrepresent the product, hide flaws and damage and ship you shit they should have thrown in the trash then lie about the condition it was in when shipped if you file a dispute.
If the seller has a tracking number showing delivery, it is your word against theirs, even with documentation, pictures, etc.
Do not believe Goods and Services is in the buyer's best interest.
Know who you are dealing with.
Also, if the cue has ivory in it, I wonder if PP would cover it if they found out.Paypal Goods and Services is no guarantee you won't get scammed. We do have them already! Go to any major tournament or the BCA/CSI annual event (or Super Billiard Expo) and you will see a plethora of cuemakers exhibiting their wares. I agree with you. I want to try before I buy. EVERY cue is different, including those made by the same cuemaker!Be nice to have a big, national cue 'swap meet' where you could try-n-buy face to face.
