Allison is a class act all the way and a fine player all the way. All else is irrelevant. I have had the pleasure of meeting her several times and she has always been polite and pleasant. I wondered (and at times doubted her) how she would fare against the men as did many of us. We now happily eat crow!!! Some said she was scared to with the men. Personally, I think she was just waiting for the $$$$ to be right.

I'm not a personal friend of Allison but I have had the pleasure of being in her company on a few occasions. From my experience of being around her I have seen what a true PROFESSIONAL "POOL PLAYER" should act like. Allison is a class act, a pure professional and an extremely nice LADY with extraordinary talent. Many professional pool playing Men could take a lesson in how to be a "PRO" from her and I hope they do. (I could go on about that last statement forever...e.a.r.l. )
As far as her talent and ability goes..........What can I say, she is a CHAMPION. Allison is also still the first and only Woman to ever win an "OPEN" Viking Tour event.

Also, I got word about Putnams performances in the 1st 3 rounds of the event.
Round 1 he beat KEITHER 8-3 or 4
Round 2 he beat the Oklahoma Kid 8-7
Round 3 he beat GINKY 8-3 or 4

Allie has played 14.1 in the past while she was actively playing women's snooker. She played Ewa in an exhibition match in London some years ago, in the late 80's or early 90's. They played best out of 3 going to 75 points. Ewa barely won the first game but Allison came back and defeated her soundly in the next two games.
I had a feeling that when I saw her play 14.1 all those years ago that if she did decide to take up pool full-time she'd do well. And, she certainly has done well in her pool endeavours to date.
