Hi all,
A friend of mine here in Phoenix recently had his car stolen, with both his and his wife's cues and cases in it. They only had liability insurance on it, so they are having to take a pretty hefty loss. They are both heavy barbox tourney players that use their cues regularly and so he is offering this gorgeous cue by our own Ryan Theewen of Rat Cues for sale to try and fund some plainer cues and cases to keep both he and his wife playing until they can have new ones made at a later date.
The specs are:
Length: 60"
Weight: 19.1 oz. with either shaft
Woods used: Curly maple and cocobolo
Number of shafts: 2
Ferrules: Synthetic
Tips: Unknown, non-layered, medium density
Shaft diameters: Approx. 12.75-12.85mm
Inlays: Maple and malachite diamonds in the butt sleeve
Veneers: Three - green, natural, black
Wrap: Natural curly maple handle
Joint: Phenolic w/ piloted 5/16-14 pin
Rings: Green, natural, and ebony, at all positions A,B,C,D, and E
The cue is in excellent condition. There might be a few light player's marks, but certainly nothing noteworthy. The cue is straight and both shafts and butt roll true. Ryan's cues are players and this one is no exception. Nice solid feel and it is balanced beautifully. You seriously don't even know you're hitting with a 60" cue.
The seller is asking $1,050 shipped (price now lowered to $850 shipped!) in the US. No trades on this one, sorry! Please let me know if you have any questions, or should you desire extra pictures, and thanks for looking!
