Hey guys I am trying to either sell or trade this beautiful Adams AA-3 Here are some better pics of it than I had up before.

I am asking for $200.00 as it retailed for $350.00 and is in perfect condition as in not one flaw possible. The weight is 18.7 i was told.

As for trades i would love an ebony sneaky but am open to all sorts of offers.

For the right trade I am also willing to include up to 100 dollars cash.

So here are the pics.

I'm not trying to be rude, but maybe you should try a raffle on this cue.....This is the 5th thread in this forum in 18 days on this same cue..just an idea..

Didnt want to do a raffle way too time consuming and in all honesty i dont feel like getting hassled about it.

Its a great cue and im just trying to trade it or move it. I am open to offers on either trade or sale so hit me up guys.

I guess you missed the hidden message in my post...I will spell it out for you.....5 new threads on the same cue in the same section in 18 days would be considered by most as OVERKILL.....please BUMP your old threads...

What are you the forum police? Dude im just trying to sell my cue or trade it I have trued bumping and bumping and bumping and nothing. So i figured i would give it one last shot not that i actually need to be explaining any of this to you. So in all honesty unless you are buying or trading for my cue have a good day and i look forward to not seeing any more of your quote unquote hidden messages.

We are all the forum police.

It is not right that you have multiple threads for the same item.

The deal here is simple. This forum is generally about more expensive cues than the one you are offering. Its not a slam, just marketing advice. Ebay will probably get you more hits.

The forum is generally about more expensive cues? Says who, im not being funny i have seen multiple cues on here that have gone for less than what i am selling my cue for and in all honesty who are you people to tell me ho many posts i can have. Are you serious? Unreal.I am really sorry i dont have a scruggs or a mottey or something better but not all of us can afford those, elitist much?

Since we're all putting our two cents in... I think it's just a netiquette thing. It has nothing to do with the value of what you're selling.

Basically, if you're opening multiple threads or overbumping for the same sale you're in effect telling everyone else who's posting here that "hey my sale is more important than what you're trying to sell or buy, so I deserve more front page visibility". The more "valuable" realestate one poster takes the less other posters have to use.

We're a sort of community on here with a lot of the same people buying and selling, so we try not to trample each other's ability to sell. You'll notice that the most successful sellers are the ones that don't overbump and don't post multiple threads on the same sale. There's no forums police, but it is self-policing in it's own way.

Some sales take longer than others, it takes some patience.

When did we have to start selling only the most expensive cues possible. Are we the little guys relegated to like this crap little place where only now and again we are allowed to show our faces. While my cue may not be the best out there or the most expensive am i not within my rights to try and sell here. In the first couple of pages of the wanted for sale i saw many cues listed around the two to three hundred dollar mark. So while you say its not a slam it really is no matter how you say it.

So thanks for your input heres some of mine. While im sure you had my best interests at heart offering the ebay advice here is some advice of my own, if you have nothing nice to say say nothing at all, or keep your mouth shut when things dont concern you. Just a thought not a slam just some advice.

I know ill prob get horrible rep for this but im so sick of the elitists out there who get a big head for just the most expensive cues.

You can call me or anyone here anything you want. I'm not trying to flame you. The lesson to be learned here is that folks vote with their feet. Interpreted for you, that means that so far, the folks that frequent this forum simply aren't interested in your cue. If they were, you'd have sold it already. Doesn't mean its a bad cue. Same deal happened with a MUCH better cue made by Barry Cameron. Beautiful cue. Matt90 was trying to sell it and had to try a raffle, all because no one knew the cuemaker very well. Adam, for better or worse, is not widely played with. Haven't seen a single one all season in APA.

Oh well if you havent seen one all season in the APA then i guess your right. I mean the APA is guiding line for all things billiards. In all honesty as i had said previously i figured i would give it one last shot selling I just didnt appreciate your tact on the matter. In all honesty if you want to sound like a knowledgeable elitist i wouldnt go around touting the cues that are seen in the APA.

tim, speak for yourself buddy. i don't think you have a clue what the folks that frequent this forum think.

You got that from BestPriceCues on ebay...I know that back drop

I've considered buying one of these before, actually. I've heard they play quite solidly for a china cue

you don't say how much it's been played?

Well, I'm happy that you speak for the masses of this forum. Its too bad that a few of you just can't seem to take a bit of good natured advise without getting an attitude. Goodness knows, I know the internet's mantra is that, but thankfully, this forum is thankfully a whole lot different.

Bottom line, selling any cue is difficult these days, whether they are $1,000 cues or $200 cues. And there are plenty of choices at $200. Any way you slice it, just because no one (so far) wants to buy an adam cue, that fact does not mean that we are elitist or snobby or any other name you'd like to toss out. It just means that no one is interested! Money is tight. The cue market stinks. Its summer. Want more reasons ??? I just gave you a marketing idea to help you sell the cue more quickly. I just don't care if the cue is posted a million freakin times! Go to it! But don't piss and moan at us as being elitists and then expect us to open our wallets for your cue. It just doesn't work that way.
