i played with the exact cue for almost 4 years daily, it is 100% the best hitting cue for that much $$$ that is readly avaliable, Sugartrees nowdays play as good but are harder to find, dosent matter who buys it from who-i'm not involved-just wanted to share my experience,

Thank you FB. I'm sure you mean you played with the same model cue as this one since this one is brand new. I have played with a Tad as well and hit with a couple of others they are very consistant. He is a true craftsman and takes great pride in his work.

i try but i was trying to give away an 1100$ cue and a 400$ instroke case for 800$ refinished new shaft and shipped. i got nothing...lol

Most popular question is, what are the ferrules made of? The ferrules look to be a white LBM. I don't believe Tad uses ivory.

I've owned several of these plain Tads. For those who don't already know, these cues hit (and play) as good as ANY cue ever made. I don't know what his secret is, but Tad sure as H--- knew something that most other cuemakers didn't. Every one hit consistently good. Tang had his best years playing with one of these, including a second in the 1998 U.S. Open.

I have one now and it is NFS!

Why?

I have heard that the shaft wood is very very old and good shafts.

I don't know but I was told this by a top cuemaker, that swore that Tad had tons of old shaftwood.

Thanks for the comments Jay and Ken. Not called teasing "B". It's called trying to do business for a very fine cue.

For now, I am suspending the offer for this cue through AZ untill the Ebay auction has ended. At that time, I may or may not relist it here. Thank you to all that responded. Hopefully you understand that there is no way that I could lower the price even more for this cue.
