Only one I have ever seen and this one is an absolute beauty! Cue had a recent refinish is spotless and dead straight. Played a few games before being redone and it hit fantastic. Asking $600 shipped. Don't think you'll ever see another like it. Cue is very dark emerald green.

How Rare?

Has anyone seen another one of these. If you have one, please feel free to post pictures here. This cue is incredible. One of the best playing McDermotts, of the many I have tried.

B-4

I have B-4 natural maple colour. It is the best playing McD I have tried.

Good Ones!

Yes, the B series cues seem to be consistently great players. I'm looking for a B-15 if there is one out there?

Can never get tired of looking at those early Mcdermott's, fantastic cue, bet the emerald just looks regal !!

Pictures!

Perfect word, regal. The pictures don't quite do it justice. Thinking I had a DS attack putting it up for sale. At least it got viewed by some McD. fans. This one is very special. Almost shoots the balls in by it self.:D

Better Pic's?

These might be a little more accurate pictures. I never get tired of looking at this one.

Wow!

Just came across this old post. Looked at this cue in my personal collection couple days ago. These pictures don't come close to showing how beautiful this cue is. Will try again if still available in the future.

My older brother just acquired a cue from a friend and asked me to find out a little bit about it. All I knew was that it's a McDermott to start with.
He sent me a few pics and I started tracking it down between a D-3 and a B-4.
The McDermott site shows a blonde version of the B-4 and it threw me off for a bit. It turns out that his buddy gave him a B-4 in a darker wood.
He will be using it as a player after it sat for almost 30 years in a closet.
Nice little cue.
