i'd defend america 100%, like i stated before i pay my taxes, if i didnt believe in america i wouldnt pay taxes here or live here half the time. i think you are misunderstanding me i have no bad feelings towards america, but i'm not going to close my mind to other cultures and people in the world or take up some elitest attitude because i'm from america. does that make me a bad guy? because i'm not running around with a flag shouting "america is ther greatest country ever"? does that make me a bad guy? a terroist? no it dosent. i'm not a racist i love all people not all individuals, i love all countrys in the world unless they threaten my life. the world is a wonderful place and america isnt the center of the world its just a part of it.

I agree with almost everything in this post, although I have found that some places are really not OK from my perspective. But for the most part I'm sure many from the USA would have no problem living in various parts of western Europe, in Australia or New Zealand, in some Pacific Rim countries, and of course in Canada, from what I've seen of these places.

On the last point, this has been my sense as well, which I find astounding given your foundations in freedom ... you are free to do anything but criticise (or even make bland comments about) your country. We complain about Canada all the time up here, and we don't consider each other less Canadian ... that's reserved for the Quebecois (KIDDING !) (notice how quickily I put in the "KIDDING !) (darn, i maybe should have said "Albertans" :p ... STILL KIDDING and about to stop digging too :D ).

Dave, really was just kidding 'cause he knows that the French were absolutely instrumental in the discovery and development of Canada and the Albertans have gas ;)

i will sum it up...if an "american" does not love this country...that person is not a real american....that person is somebody who takes advantage of what america can offer and does not care about America...

i just thought that for somebody like you who is making millions here would be more 'loving' towards america....

...the problem i have with your stance is that,,,i see so many business people or even non business people who come to america and yet they hate america and they are just getting all they can from this great economy....i know people that are here- and they are numerous -even naturalized citizen but have no allegiance to this country---in fact they are sending money home to finance Americas destruction...

...i don't think either that if one is not waving american flag or one that is criticizing america, then that person should be labelled a terrorist-- i do not agree with that,,,,

but i completely hate it when i heard some veterans of wwII saw some "crazy americans' burning flags and thinks that's ok and makes comments like..."it's ok to burn the flag,that's what we fought for- so you can have freedom to do anything you want to"...have these people lost their mind....

freedom comes with great responsibility and that responsibility os to do the right thing,,,that is why it's a crime to shout fire in a movie house, because not all acts that one conceive is ok....

BTW,,,FATBOY---PEACE....i'm still going for my dream of trying to get something big done for pool ....we are doing the feasibility studies right now,,, i know you are too with Mr. Jay....goodluck...and who knows we might end -up teaming up....once you see my plan ..you might go nuts and say ...this will absolutely work....

for the record, my intentions were not to upset anyone here, i hope I didnt, I just expressed that there is a whole world out there and there are great places including America. And of course I am proud of the people in the armed forces and stand by them 100%. And the Vetrans too. I dispise people who dont pay their taxes and contribute to our country. Racism, terroists and extremeists are intollarable.

The Hall of Famers who devoted their life to the sport are not fools. They are champions in their discipline, something the seed-gatherers and the basket-weavers can't achieve in pool. So, rather than give them their propers, you want to act as if they're lepers.

Last time I checked, this is a pool forum. If a few kindred souls follow their dreams to become all that they can be, so what if their priorities are different than the seed-gatherers? Does it give the nits who can't play a lick the right to bash them at every opportunity on this pool forum?

Yes, playing professional pool is expensive, and most cannot make ends meet, but that doesn't give the seed-gatherers the right to call them "fools." They continue on their mission in life, which is to be the best that they can be. This is something that should be admired, not ridiculed, again, especially on a pool forum.



Next time you step outside of your lovely home, don't forget to enjoy the sweet smell of freedom that my countrymen are dying for. I'm proud of the United States of America, and I condemn all those who laugh at my country for the reasons given by you. How dare you!

Why not pack your belongings and move to Siberia. For every one of you, there's a thousand around the world who would love to take your place in America. Enjoying the opportunies we have in this country doesn't come for free.

I LOVE my country, but I sure don't care for some of our "elected" leaders. Especially ones who "stole" TWO elections. There are some flaws here if nincompoops like GW can be become President and lie and cheat for eight long years. These are bad times for the USA, sorry to say.

All true! I have seen it with my own eyes. He oversees everything from home, constantly on the phone and his computer. Amazing but still true. He has good people in charge. Some problems naturally, but he handles them.

Bush won every recount, Gore did everything he could, including having military votes thrown out. Gore could have shown some class,but he has none.

He showed a lot of class when he conceded. Florida was a BIG FIX! Gore could have pushed it there, but chose not to. I wish he had. He would have been an infinitely better President than what we got. Things would have gone far differently under his leadership, a man with some integrity and morals! Bush has neither!

Conceded, LOL, what was he gonna do after he took it all the way to the Supreme Court and lost? He conceded nothing til the bitter end. There was at least three sets of recounts and Gore lost every one.

All the recounts were BOGUS! The Jeb Bush machine at work. You can go on worhipping this "hero" if you like. I despise him for what's he's done TO America.

I'd tell him to his face too if I ever got the chance. The absolute worst ever does not begin to describe him. Okay Smoke, I'm done. I guess I'm just angry and will continue to be until I never see the name GWB again. A total disgrace to America IMO!

Brother Jeb was stuffin' the ballot boxes while we were in the sweat box. That was the biggest fix any of us will ever see.


I have been in biz 11 years, it was rough in the begginning, the first 4 years i was there 12-18 hours a day, then less and less time there, with 750 whats 1 more body? so i still work non stop just not in an office. i have been blessed and lucky no doubt, there isnt a day that passes i dont count my lucky stars, i'm very humble and greatful

I guess you like that bobble-headed car salesman Bill Clinton who sold American technology to the Chinese and pardoned every crook who contributed to him.
