I just bought a Lucky by McDermott for my GF. Took it out to break in the tip this morning, and it plays well. Super reasonable prices, lots of designs, and they also have packages which include basic tools and a case.

You cant beat a $65 players cue and pick up a soft case you will be under $85 for a great playing cue and case
My girlfriend is gonna be our anchor (SL 1 :lolfor our league team this up coming season and i need to find a decent cue with a case for her.
