Being in stroke is an amazing feeling

As anyone knows, being is stroke is an amazing feeling. The last two nights I have been in stroke at my leagues and pretty much ran the sets out both nights. Great feeling. Call me crazy, but if I had $10,000 just laying around I would answer Shane's challenge for a race to 100 bar table 8 ball. But I don't have that kind of money laying around. :) Yeah, I know it's crazy, but hey maybe in a few years if I can get that kind of money, I might try it.
 
It truly is a great feeling. The first time I beat the 10ball ghost I was in dead stroke, it was amazing. It seemed effortless to make full table banks, two/three rail position shots, everything!

I wouldn't go as far to challenge Shane on a barbox though lol
 
when I am "there" I never realize the score, the opponent has to tell me it is over.....sweet..:thumbup:

Didn't you say in the "league" thread that you were an SL5? Remind me not to match up with any 5's in Louisiana!!

What and why does money have to do with anything?

Just play for a dollar a game and see how you end up.


So Shane's challenge is a race to 100 for $10,000?

My challenge to anyone is a dollar a game for 2 hours.
No quitting for at least two hours. Yes anyone.
Any table size over 6 X 3.:smile:

I've won more money in my entire life when I started out playing a dollar a game.:thumbup:


I'm a low 6 in a handicap league...so I'm easssssssssssyyyyyy.

I am an SL5 in 8-ball :grin-square:

I play 9/10 ball pretty sporty though. I want to find a 9ball team and try out the APA format.

I have heard Mark Griffin say that shane had an open challenge for anyone wanting to play race to 100 bar box 8 ball. To play him in that format you would need some big cash for it so I just threw out a number. I play $1 or $2 a game here and there. I was just mainly daydreaming outloud. lol

Some pro players are just too greedy. Wish more would come and play for a dollar a game.

I believe it would be great for the sport.

This dude's wife needs to go hide his checkbook lol. Shane's got enough money.
But it's great you had some strong league nights. The other guys musta been crying to get run over like that.

Not married yet. lol

And yes the other guys were like "what am I supposed to do. He is playing lights out." It was a great feeling. Now watch me not be able to make a ball next week. lol
 
in stroke

if your opponent has played for any lenghth of time.they would know there is nothing they can do,short of sitting there enjoying the show.

If you do not know how you got in stroke, you will never have it when you need it. You have to find the way to be in stroke all the time, keep at it.
