I recently purchasedB K dvds from seyberts, and none of them work. I tried two different dvd players and my computer and nothing. I contacted the seller and he said i need the new dvd player for them to work, and suggested vhs.If i wanted vhs , i would have bought vhs. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't get it, dvds from other sources and teachers work just fine, this doesn't sound right.HELP!!!!

Just a wild guess...but the following article excerpt might well be the issue.

What about the format war?

Yes, there are two incompatible types of high-definition DVD players: HD-DVD (backed by Toshiba, Microsoft, Sanyo, NEC and movie studios like New Line and Universal) and Blu-ray (backed by Sony, Apple, Panasonic, Philips, Samsung, Sharp, Pioneer, Dell and movie studios like Sony, 20th Century Fox, Lions Gate and Disney).

Hard to imagine that Bert would do ANYTHING in Hi Def...LOL...but possibly his duplicator didn't ask or Bert didn't kinow what they were talking about!

I would e-mail Bert and ask him what's up.

Regards,
Jim

I bought the $100 DVD from Wild West. It has a lot of dead spots. It wouldn't work in the cheap DVD VCR combo player that I bought at Sam's Club. It will only work in my more expensive DVD player. but as I stated before there are some dead spots.

I have bought a lot of VCR tapes from Bert and have had some problems with some of those. He has replaced them.

The match between Neils and Ralph stopped before the match was over??? I had the tape about one year before I looked at it so I haven't complained to Bert about it.

The DVD from John Schmidt also has problems. It will only work in my better DVD player. I loaned it out to some of my friends and they said they couldn't get it to work.

Apparently there is a problem with the DVD players.

i had/have the same problem with buying cd's they didn't work on my one main player..

I ordered a dvd a while back from Seyberts and it did not work either. I called Seyberts and they told me that I will need to call Bert. I looked on his web site to get his number and he replaced it wiht no problem and the dvd he sent me worked fine. I now order directly from Bert.

Go to Walmart and find the cheapest and i mean the cheapest dvd player (CyberHome CH-DVD 300) that you can find and they will play anything. Mine cost around $35.00, problem solved!
