Best 9 Ball Player in the World?

He was very fortunate that Brian guy choked with a road-map layout at hill-hill. Even the game earlier when Brian had BIN, he decides to miss a ball 5 inches from the pocket because he "didn't need no g'dam bridge" with an almost-dead 9ball combo just waiting to be dropped afterwards.

Ronnie IS awesome though.

I think this title can belong to a couple people, but it really depends on the format. Couple variables include pocket size and the use of magic rack. Tighter tables will reward players with a stronger safety game, magic rack will reward players who can control the cue ball on the break vs some players have a lot more power on the breaks.. etc.

We talking about ever? Still alive? Active but past his prime? Or active and in his prime?
Ronnie's amazing but I dunno that he's like earl or efren in their prime.

These two guys . . .

were top of the heap . . . lot's of great players out there, but when it involved real cash money, I wouldn't want to be staring one of them down.

Sorry I'm not talking anything. I just thought it would be an interesting thing as a lead in and maybe someone would watch the video.

what's up with the loud pink neon stuff on the shaft and butt of his cue?
seems like a visual aiming aid of some sort.

I think it's Dennis Orcullo.

Darren Appleton, the winner of the last two US Open nine ball events, and Shane Van Boening, runnerup in the 2011 Derby City Nine Ball event and winner of the 2012 Derby City nine ball event are certainly in the conversation.

I don't feel that Ron Alcano is in the conversation when it comes to who is the very best, but Alcano is a proven worldbeater capable of beating anyone on any occasion.
