Best All Around Player=Robocop

I had to post this pic of Dennis vacuuming my house. He literally did the carpet in the entire house (2,000 sq. ft.) TWICE! It was amazing all the dust that came up from that floor. He had to empty the vacuum (a very powerful one) four times! And to think I've been breathing that crap for months now.

Now he's vacuuming my patio and deck outside. What a guy!

Jay,
After playing with Tiger for quite some time...how does Dennis like his Meucci. I'm sure he could play with a broom handle (or vacuum) but it seems Dennis is pretty equipment sensitive.

How do we know?

How do we ever determine who the best all around player in the world is?

Is it by who wins the most world titles?

Is it by who wins the biggest variety of tournaments?

Is it determined by how tough the playing field is?

Is it by who is consistently in the top five reported earnings over the last 10 years?

What single game in pool is Dennis the best at?

I really don't know. But, I would take vintage Reyes over him any day...........

Dennis loves his hand-made Meucci. Bob is still a fine cue maker if he makes the cue himself.

I find that interesting, can you elaborate? what do you specfically see in Wu and how do you feel he could do in other games outside rotation?

He just does everything a little better than almost anyone else. He pockets as good as Dennis, plays position like Efren and never gets flustered. He is a truly a Zen pool player, always totally focused on all shots. You just don't see him make careless position errors or miss routine shots. I would call him Mr. Consistency.

As for other games there is no reason he couldn't play them at the highest level. I think his focus will remain on the games where most of the tournaments are played. He may not have any equal at 9-Ball, Ten Ball or Eight Ball. That doesn't mean he won't lose a match once in a while to some other top player, but overall he's the man to beat.

I was surprised to see Tiger lose their star. Meucci has amassed quite a stable of champions to represent their product. It's a shame they don't spend more effort in QA.

Agree.

Wu and Selby are probably the two best in the world based strictly on their mental games.

I agree, and the scary part is I think he's getting better, he's 28 wasn't aloud to play for political stuff for a few yrs I believe,, he's a perfectionist by every definition of the word with a Borg like demeanor he's going to be a major force every time he steps to the table
