Shane or Duel. Shaw if you only have to live in the US.
I like Corey too, with his small amount of snooker back ground...as long as he leaves his golf clubs home .Johnnyt
If residents are included, then Appleton also has to rank up there.
Just Americans. Johnnyt
Soon enough it will be Billy Thorpe
I'll agree he would be top 5 in Chinese 8 ball. Johnnyt
Then why isn't he over playing in China for the $150K 1st Place prize money right now (like SVB is)? You're such an exaggerator Johnnyt.

i think he means top 5 AMERICAN which may put him in the top 100 on the world stage
For my opinion,it`s Shane, although Deuel has good performance in JOY`s January event, the Grand Final of World Chinese 8-ball Masters.
Appleton and Jason Shaw are good at Chinese 8-ball,because their background of English Pool.
Anybody going to Vegas July could have a try playing Chinese 8-ball on JOY booth,it`s free, and prize is good

Has Billy Thorpe ever even played Chinese 8 Ball before?
Both Deuel and SVB don't tend to get very far in C8B tournaments so I'm going to claim Shaw as an American for these purposes
Shaw made it to the semifinals of this year's world championship: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=zWyyK4sQRDk

Take a walk and go pimp some more BCA lessons. Johnnyt
Shane is by far the best American cueist. If there would be good money (to motivate him training it) it wouldn't be close just like it is now on the american tables.
I'd go Corey. And don't forget Bergman. Seriously, I watched Bergman make a 10ball clearance at Shooters on a ten foot snooker table. That is not an easy thing to do.
And, although I believe Shane is thinking about retiring, and not putting in the grueling %1000 percent that he used to, he has to be considered because he has his own C8B table and is sponsored by Joy Tables.
