Best Annual Event By State

Sounds like a great tournament, never heard about it until just now.
Did they ever have any advertisement for it anywhere besides their site?
I can't be the only person that would go to tournaments, but can never find them listed anywhere
{or am I }.
I seem to hear about them 3 or 4 days before they are happening, which is not enough time for me.
How do the players find out about them?
Wisconsin Tournament is the one I am talking about.

Larry, what's the United Open? We have a Dr. Cue event in CO each year, 2k added pros not allowed, tho Massey and Rossman are allowed, both got knocked out last year. March each year....after leagues are done, before the summer heat. Large Calcutta. NM boys win it once in awhile. Generally trophy stays in Pueblo, tough action 8 ball bar table town, since the 50's. Entry I think $60 and all Diamonds and tables are Open, no quarters needed. 128 max, usually fills.

I played in that tournament the first two years they held it and it is a very good tournament.
