Best at Identifying a Cue ?

Since this whole picture thing does not seem really user friendly. Who are the recomended go-to for identification? Posting on FB is lets say interesting?
Is the joint 5/16 X 18?

Picture of the joint is below, consistent with Palmer 3rd catalog if it's 5/16 X 18.

www.thepalmercollector.com look at the third catalog scan- model 12- not exactly yours but similar- Palmer would make variations upon request. Your cue's butt cap may have been replaced- hence no Palmer name on your cue- joint screw would be 5/6 18, if its not; then I doubt you have a Palmer.

You said Houston, early 90s- I would bet this is an early Richard Black - he is in Texas. that's just a guess, he would have to authenticate it- but I am thinking it is one of his- someone had early Richard Black catalogs on here recently I believe.
