Best Bridge Head

2.5 pack

Was looking to buy a bridge head to hold in my case. I know there are several in the market but which one would you consider the best and where to purchase one.

Thanks

Spinelli moosehead bridgehead (or any other maker). Only about $7, but a must have in the bag. Just pushes over your break cue with a secure rubber hole in the middle of the head. 9 different rests for the cue. Everyone sells them.

Let them laugh when you pull it out...refusing to use the 3 rest POC on the table. You'll know better and it should pay for itself soon enough at their expense.

I have all the Mooseheads you need.
You get more variationss/position of use then a standard bridgehead.
For as many times as you use a bridge they are quite cost efective.
If you have a cue that you are anal about or extremely soft wood :killingme: you might want to smooth yours up with some sandpaper.

I like to do them 3 for $12 delivered with DC#. You will have a couple of extras for your buddies. Just one would be $6 delivered.
PM if you are interested.

The Justa-Bridge is nice but won't fit in my Justis case. I recommend Moosehead if you have same problem.

I happen to own (and love) Tiger Products' "Corona" leather bridge head:

I have the moosehead bridge also, but for some reason, I've experienced gradual damage to my cue shafts from it. Perhaps I got some poorly-made import version of it, but I've found that the slots where the cue shaft rests into are not completely smooth, and sometimes even emits a "squeaking" sound when stroking the cue through these slots. The plastic, in fact, imparts flattening to the wood (very slightly, but over time it builds up and becomes noticeable -- I've had to have my local cue luthier put these shafts on the lathe to get these flattened raceways out and "round them" again).

The Corona leather bridge head completely obviates this from happening, and the cue moves very smoothly through it. It's also heavier and more stable on the table than the moosehead bridge.

Hope this is helpful!

If I couldn't fit my Pro Justa Bridge in my case, I can, I would use Velcro and strap it on. I'd be lost without it. Small Hands.

I have a Justa-Bridge that I never use because (1) it won't fit in my case, (2) the places to rest your shaft are too narrow/snug and (3) it doesn't always adjust with just an easy twist of the cue handle - sometimes it takes two hands.

I like my moosehead.

I had a justabridge (isnt that the one where you turn the cue and it opens and closes?) and went back to the moosehead.

Just lower the zipper a little and it is out and ready

My Case has a center zipper lower pocket. I just let the hub stick out above the zipper. .:grin:
For Long reach there is the Wheelie Bridge in the pocket.

Do you still sell the Mooseheads 3 for $12 delivered? If so I'll take 3 of them.

Due to the flexibility I would go with the Justabridge. Yes it is a little large and causes a snug fit in some cases. It fits ok in my Justis case but does push the pocket out a little. Fits great in my George case and GTF case.

Moost have!!

Cant go wrong with the moosehead. My local poolroom has the Tiger leather bridges but there is no comparison, especially on shots where you use the high side of the bridge. The leather tends to flex a little. Ive used a moosehead for 10 years and have never had any sort of shaft damage.

When I first saw this thing I thought to myself, "What a useless piece." Then I tried it while playing one-handed and thought to myself, "This HAS to be cheating."

Bridge? What bridge? A real player learns to shoot left-handed (or right-handed)...or behind the back like Busty.

^^^^^^^^^^^
That was a joke for any would-be flamers. But you should still learn to shoot with the opposite hand.

I just picked up a Tiger Corona leather bridge head and am real happy I did. It absolutely will not scratch or damage a shaft during normal operation making a stroke, and I doubt you would do any damage even if you dropped your cue on it while getting into position. The entire head is made from leather, not just some leather strip running across the grooves that can wear out or come unglued.

I guess I don't need a dozen different possible positions from a bridge head, the standard 5 will do just fine. What I do need from a bridge head is absolute confidence that it is not going to scrape, scratch or otherwise damage my cue or the cues of my guests.

I paid $15 for it.
