Best budget pool balls?

Yeah, international shipping is still like 35+ dollars ...
What would be the best balls to get for say under 80 shipped

if they are Aramith and made of phenolic resin.. and used in a home occasionally.. they will be perfectly playable for the rest of your life

all the upgrades are durability upgrades so unless you play all day every day.. or own a pool hall plain phenolic will do just fine:thumbup:

myself I own super pro cups.. but I play ALOT

Hi,
I'm looking for the best set of budget pool balls.
What in your opinion are the best budget pool balls?
How do 'Professional Pool Balls' compare to say Aramith Crown. (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400223992802&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT)

Problem is that I'm having trouble in buying Aramith Crowns because of the shipping to my area (Australia).
Aramith has to have a distributor in Australia unless they have been forced out of that market by the rip-offs and counterfeiters. Is there a high-end pool hall you could visit to ask about the local possibilities?

That is the problem with shipping a set of balls, or a gross of chalk, the freight is almost as much as the product. Fedex just went up 7%, usps 20%, there is no cheap freight any more, due to the rising prices of gasoline.

Buying a cheap set of balls, is like buying a cheap pair of shoes, you will live to regret it. But if you must, try the Cuetecs, best ball at a low price.

Then probably the aramith crowns.

The best balls are the new Aramith tournaments, they are a total new generation and they are fantastic. They have now made everything, obsolete.
