try Dick Neighbours, I've just acquired one of his cues off my coach, and it is beautiful and plays lovely. His cues seem fairly priced from what I've seen, and when you get a naturally weighted cue that looks and plays beautifully, it is worth the investment. Luckily, the cue has been passed on in my case, butI wanted one just like it when it wasn't mine :)

Sorry for epic post, that's my suggestion, and I promise you wont go far wrong :)

Hi,

I think that many makers can make you one at that cost, 1 shaft, and no veneers if I understood you right.

Bob Dzuricky does real nice work, have 2 of his cues.

Jeff Olney makes one hell of a cue at a reasonable price. Why don't you give him a call? 515-432-2511

For pure playability, do custom cues outperform highly regarded production cues like Mezz, Schon, Joss, etc.. ?

sure....i don't think many player stupid enough to buy 2000$ cue, if that thing can not outperform production cues:smile:

Sorry if it was a stupid question. I've never played with a custom cue, so I don't know how much better than can play over high end production cues.

I know many custom cue buyers are buying because of the artistry and wood work.
