With the exception of a lathe....
Can anyone recommend the best Do It Yourself tip installer tool ???

Seyberts USE to advertise and sell a tip installer tool but can't find it on their website anymore.

I used a willard to put on tips. It paid for itself very fast.

On a side note, I always wondered what that middle (center) bottle was in your avatar, I just happened to see one in the liquor store Saturday night and I immediately thought of your avatar.

Thanks Joe. A little pricey for the few tips I will be replacing, maybe I can find a used one.

They last forever though. Change the blade when its dull, and your grandkids will use it, lol. I dont know where mine is at, or id sell it to ya, lol.

Crystal Head Vodka. Its the purest vodka ive ever had. It has zero aftertaste, and it will smash your face in, lol. Its great! At $50 a bottle, its not something i drink a lot of though. And no matter what, i never mix it with anything. Its too good to pollute with oj or cranberry.

tip installer

to hold the tip on when the glue is wet heavy duty rubber band is my first choice if you dont have a lathe
getting the tip flush to the ferrule without a lathe takes time filing and sanding .
a slip knot with a rubber band and over the tip is fast cheap and you can see if you are inline with the ferrule and the rubber band doesnt put dents or marks on you shaft . then put cue upside down so glue doesnt run down ferrule
good luck
