Best expenditure of time so far

I gotta say.. been in several sports over the last 40 years but POOL IS THE BEST!
Coming up on 3 years and know its for the rest of my life. I realize it's all about good practice, practice, practice with solid fundamentals on every play.

Damn its beautiful to watch a good stroke too! The way the cueball curves or takes off following a collision, or the soft touch, masse and positional plays. An infinite array of wonderful reactions.

The game is great. Can't wait till I get better in my mind and can leave it for the spirit to enjoy!

Really hooked - love straight pool

And I ran into one of the best players ever who has taught me how to practice and to have a straight stroke. I hope he continues to teach me when I get my stroke..

Interesting name; you have a helicopter? I was just there, at Sikorsky Helicopter yesterday afternoon.

I discovered pool about 3 years ago at age 58 and feel the same way you do. I think what I enjoy most is the never-ending challenge to improve (and mine will truely be never-ending; my body was not meant to play this game but I love it anyway :D)
