Best hitting cue for $1200 buck?

Although I've never played with one, for $1200 I would have to look at the Birdseye Lambros that I saw on here yesterday. I heard they play really well and that one comes with all the rings and three shafts. Seems like a pretty good deal.

Cory Barnhart!!

I will put in another vote for Cory Barnhart... another one that was mentioned was sugartree, which is right up there, but my top pick out of the cues that have been mentioned is the Cory Barnhart.

A few "playing" cues that I would recommend:

Cory Barnhart, Tim Scruggs, Mike Johnson (Jensen), Joe Callaluca, Bluegrass, Steve Klein, Kenny Murrell, Jeff Olney....and lots of others.

You can find cues from each of these guys within your price range.

I have cues by a couple of them ( www.bamacues.com ) and they would fall within your range.

Lambros.........I have 1 4-sale on here 1250 3 shafts 1 =LD:thumbup:=
donny

My two cents in no particular order..

Scruggs
Hagan
Omen
Carmelli
Erwin
Tad

To each his own though. All depends on the player.

The Best cue between $900-$1,200.

There is no such thing. Not being a smart ass, just a very honest answer.

What you feel constitutes a good hit and what someone else feels makes a cue feel like it has a good hit can be two different things.

Even if the criteria can be agreed upon does not mean you would agree on the results.

The more vague you are with your question, the wider variety of answers you are going to get, and if the answers aren't qualified with an explanation of why that person feels it's the "best" I can't see this being anything more than a biased popularity contest.

To get helpful feedback you need to specifically state what you like in a cue (and not just the hit) and ask people to name cuemakers that fit your criteria and have them give a reason to back their opinion.

Sorry... just really bored tonight.

The best hitting cue by far is the Lambros Cue. The hit is sensational and for the money there is bot a cue out there the plays better and has more appeal to it. PERIOD the best thing about Lambros is weather you get a entry level or one of his one of a kind all of them are made the same. You can not go wrong with a Lambros

That's an easy one !
Plain Jane Blue grass from Richard Harris

I have 2 Southwests, a Sugartree, a Black Boar and several other "players" cues in my collection. I switch about now and again to re-acquaint myself with some old friends, but when I am serious about a tournament or league match I always go back to my Bluegrass PJ, it hits an absolute treat.

Should be able to pick one up in 98% condition for somewhere between 800 and 1200 depending on the ring work involved. A bargain in my opinion.
