I haven't been able to play much pool as of recent since my shoulder has started troubling me again.
However, when I have been able to play, a couple of mths ago I picked my Scruggs cue to use that day.

Gosh, I must be coming down with Alzheimer as I've forgotten how great TS radial pin / ivory cues play.
So the last few times I've played since then, my Scruggs is the first cue that comes out of my case to use.

In hindsight, I wish I had spent more time looking for another Scruggs like the one I own instead of that
darn special Hercek cue I was never able to locate. Tim was just a amazing cue-maker extraordinaire.

every cue ive ever owned was sold so theyre all shit. oh wait, its jusr me, i suck at pool hahahahahahahaha Schon ill never sell, everything else is sellable. SW is the most overrated cue of all time, ive tried several and they all felt dull and they all had a rollout, commonly known as a SW roll, also known as I paid too much for this POS so i gotta make it acceptable for it to have a roll so i dont lose money. lol. hahahaha this is so subjective, its literally impossible to gauge. I saw one guy say carmeli, and to me it was the worst cue i ever hit with. I love cue designs more than anything, when a cue comes together in design and wood i can look at it all day.

Currently liking this one, though I am anxiously awaiting one from Joey.

Very sorry to hear about your shoulder Bava. I can relate - sort of. I have moderate to advanced arthritis with calcified tendinitis in my right shoulder. It forced me to give up darts - but doesn't bother me too bad when shooting. (the hips and knees are sometimes another story - but I digress).

I wish you good days so you'll be able to continue a great game/sport.

Guido Orlandi & his conical joint Cues, plus his Low deflection shafts = Magic Wands...

OK, everybody post a list of the cuemakers who make the best hitting cues you have ever tried. If this gets a good response, I will post a tally of the chart....Etc!

Curious as to how you are coming along with compiling meaningful statistics? .."Hit" is a very subjective term, as are "looks"!..You will always have people who hate brand "A", and others who love it!..Also, you will always have a majority of folks, who swear by the most popular makers. (Balabuska, Southwest, Szam and Schon)

Of the hundreds of quality cue makers in the world, many have created some very impressive products..Whose word are you going to rely on, in making a definate distinction, from one to the other?..You have a real challenge ahead of you, how are you coming so far?

PS..Thanks for putting forth the effort! You opened this can of worms, and got a ton of responses..Or have you given up?..You haven't posted in years! ;)

Scruggs sneaky pete. No collars. Old Aegis ferrule.
The one that sold for like $125.
A cut-down Valley house cue with uneven points and no finish.
