Best jump cue?

I used alot of jump cue, The best for me would be a Fisher Jump cue. One of the lightest I come across... Or is it just mine..

a friend of mine had a bunjee j/b that jumped great. really easy and extremely easy to hit what yo uaim at. he used the end part insted of the forearm to jump with. i think heavier is better as far as jumping. that could be just me

In my opinion

The new X-Jumper with the new X2 tip is the best of all that I have tried. It has an ash shaft with 1/2" bowling ball ferrule. The one I tried out had a Goncalvo Alves butt with a screwed on cute lil bumper on it.

The X2 tip is twice as hard as phenolic, but has leather in it.

Best Jump !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only One

CHILTON JUMP CUE>

I can get a chalks width away with a bar box cue ball and jump over a ball... the flying eagle has 2 options 1 for short and the other long distance over multiple balls...... Mike Massey uses one along with other pro's

Dale Chilton lives in the twincities Chilton custom cues check it out

I like my Jacoby a great deal. I've noticed that phenolic-tipped J/B cues aren't the best at consistent hits and being able to control spin, and that other, cheaper jump cues have a lot of shaft 'whip' during and following contact.

And because it's a thread about jump cues, the DEUCE!

True, I don't like phenolic-tip too. So I have changed the tip with a White Diamond. It jumps very easy and you can put english on your break. It's a really hard tip, so you can break hard. The bad thing of this tip is, you can put too much spin on your break. So a good stroke is necessary. I would recommend the White Diamond to anyone who wants a good tip on there jump or break cue.

for ease of the jump kevin varney's cues are unbeatable without a doubt. it's like using a steel rod lol!

as for their accuracy i'm not the best judge because i'm not a great jumper to say the least!

also predator are releasing their first jump cue in a few weeks time ish. they've blown their own trumpet a lot about it and early reviews and talk about it seem very exciting.

one with a phenolic tip

really after you learn a good jump stroke its not hard to jump with any basic design jump cue.i do like bunjee jump's and lucasi's better than most.

stealth

For accuracy, Larry Nevel uses the Stealth.
these are very nice.i had forgotten all about them.they make a three piece which is awesome for long jumps.and when broken down i can easily jump a cueball width.

That would be up to you. Try some out. What works well for someone else on here might suck for you. So many different flavors of jumpcues out there. I like stealth personally, but my all time favorite was a prototype jump cue produced by Falcon for a undisclosed customer, but they came in too expensive to make it to production. HOLY MOLY!! It was the nuts to say the very least.

I love my Mandigo Jump/Break. I started jumping with a J&J (which cost under a hundred!!) Once I got the hang of jumping, I moved to a custom from Mandigo. Whatever you do, make sure the jump cue has a phenolic ferrule/tip, this makes jumping a BREEZE!!!! If you want incredible acurracy also add in a purple heart shaft - this provides unreal stiffness so if you miss the ball you were jumping to - you know it was your aim, not deflection!!! Mandigo will make you a custom jump with phenolic ferrel/tip and purple heart shaft for around $500 (maybe more if you want points, etc...) I've played with Shorty's jump/break that Mike Webb made, that was a sweet cue, so you have options!! Lots and lots of options!! Good luck! :)

What's the best jump-only jump cue out there? please be specific.
The best jump-only? All of them. I don't think anyone who answered has given a bad recommendation yet.

Along with all the praises I give to the X-breaker's jump portion (not the X-Breaker jump-only cue), I also have to give kudos to Dale Chilton's Flying Eagle. That cue is an absolute jump-only monster, but the style is out of the ordinary.

Before I got my X-breaker, the Jacoby jump cue with the necked down joint (a la Jumpin' Jesse) was marginally easier to jump than my other cues (Stealth, Bunjee, Gilbert w/phenolic). The Jacoby, Stealth, and Bunjee that I have are jump-only.

Showcase billiards in Colorado makes a good one. I have one, so does just about everyone else in Colorado. I think they call it the Jumpster.

I think any one of the latest models will work well. I get more accuracy with a longer jump cue though, the little ones are tough to aim with on long shots, relatively speaking.

Learn to KICK!

I use Sledgehammer. I hear one by Steve Lomax is very good. Steve will be at the Viking Tourney at Mr. Cues end of July with 5-6 new jump cues.
