Best one pocket match on film

Do you remember which match it was recently Smokin Aces or Louisiana, that had Joey Gray playing someone and Nick Varner/ Bill Incardoa in booth? Billy I said it was the best match he ever saw.
That was Smokin Aces Joey Gray vs Josh Roberts

I thought that was it. Thanks Terry. I remember that being a exciting match

I've heard about the Ronnie Allen Diliberto tapes but I have never seen them,{if someone has them I am interested}

Check with Jay Helfert here on AZ (and this thread)... he's got the whole 6 hour set, and an edited version... and I'd also recommmend Bugs Rucker's Banks tapes if you can find them... it's on Youtube.

I watch everything I can with Efren playing 1P... in person or video... also Steve Cook,
great mover.

I haven't watched tons of 1P but I have the Efren/Alex match from DCC and it is sick.

On a side note, a couple of years back I saw an old video on YouTube of Efren playing Grady and in it Efren keeps sticking the cue ball in the stack over and over from different places to the point where it becomes almost comical. I cant seem to find it anywhere. Just wondering if anyone knows which match I'm referring to or where to find it.

2006 DCC semifinals. Alex played flawless, creative, aggressive 1P, and smiled as his friend Efren mugged him.

Efren was in top form that year.

Efren vs Daulton at DCC last year was also excellent, a contrast between "power one pocket" and old school. Efren played his usual outstanding defense waiting for the impatient young guy to make a mistake and then ran out every time he had a chance.

Best one pocket

T he 2nd. All Around match between Harriman vs. Schmidt was a classic hill hill thriller !!!!

An old one, Mizerak vs Daulton in the finals, hill hill. Shannon was about 18yo or something. Not sure the tournament, help?

I'll add Efren vs Corey, I think it was a semi-final, went hill-hill... Corey had two balls by his hole, Efren does a beautiful takeout, AND blocks a bank back... Corey tries a risky/stupid shot, Efren runs three and out... a lesson on being patient!

can't go wrong with these:

1991 - legends of one pocket - cook v parica (accustats)

2011 - california billiard club - ochoa v martinez (OTR)
