Best pin for J/B cue handle

Please don't respond unless you are either an engineer, top flight cue builder, or have broke and ran five racks of nine ball on a 4 1/2X9 at a regional or national recognized event.

What is the the very bestest pin for the handle on my B/J cue? I don't believe that the reg. joint pin does much of anything for me, and could care less. Ad a matter of fact, I probably will do very little with any information provided anyways, but thanks in advance!@#

I like the uni-lock joint on my Lucasi jump stick. It assembles in a heartbeat... thereby not wasting my or my opponent's time during a match.

You might want to try posting this in the ask the cuemaker section. You might also want to decrease your criteria for acceptable responders. :rolleyes:

Sorry about posting or that others don't qualify? I don't get it.

Do you know anybody who can comment, who has run five racks (minimim) that can comment on the pin used in the handle (not the main joint)?

I think your a bit overqualified, and will probably give some way over the top over elaborated story, none of what is true.

I am afraid I don't really understand your question?

Do you mean the "best" pin as in one that is the most solid, or one with the best transfer of energy, or one which has the closest tolerance, or one that has the least energy lost during your break...etc?
 
No, I just mean "the best" period.












Look, I'm just kidding with you guys. Please don't take me seriously. I'm just playing off the daily "What's the best tip/shaft/joint/custom cue threads.

Sorry if you took my thread seriously, and really were concerned with my break cue joint pin on the butt/forearm.:)

Very well said Fred!!! In all actuality, once the cue is together the pin don't matter...Its only purpose is to hold the cue together, though there is one slight difference...Most pins come in contact with the threads only so much when together, but if you got a pin where there is more thread contact than usual, there is a little more "feel" to it. Believe this or not, but as you said, you probably won't do anything with our advice anyways :eek: :rolleyes:
