Best Player age bracket 20,30,40, etc.

You can only have one person Salted, your 30-39 has 5 and 10-19 has 2

In that case

10-19 - Wan Can
20-29 - Ko Pin Yi
30-39 - Alex Pagulayan
40-49 - Fransisco Bustamante
50+ - Efren Reyes

I cannot believe people are putting Landon Shuffet in to the 10-19 category. I honestly feel he's in discussion because most people on here are american. He's a great player but he's just not in the same league Wan Can and Ko Ping Chun.

My initial thoughts:

10-19: Landon Shuffett
20-29: SVB
30-39: Alex Pagulayan
40-49: Johnny Archer
50-59: Efren
60+ : Parica

I don't think Archer is really a great all around player. More of a rotation specialist with some skill in straight pool. Not saying he couldn't be, but he doesn't seem to like the other games. Other than Ralf Souqet, there isn't anyone else I could think of that is an elite level player. Nod to Dennis Hatch in that age group, but he doesn't play enough to be included IMO.

Also, Shane turns 30 this summer, so that would change the standings in about a month or so.

I agree 100%

I'm with you, Shuffet has no business on that list with Can, I be scared to think what Can could spot him.

IMO, Wang Can just came on the scene with his Ultimate 10 ball showing, which was good. He beat a few monsters pretty handily. But isn't that the same thing Landon did last year at the Bigfoot challenge? And Landon did the destroying on a 10 ft table.

Not saying Landon is better or Wang is better. Just that it is fair for both to be in the discussion.

In case anyone forgot, here is the Shuffett/Strickland match from last year. The 10 foot table is "Strickland's game" mind you.

Landon's mechanics are pretty incredible, and he now has another year experience on top of this performance. I'd like to see a match between Wang/Landon, it would be interesting to say the least.

On another note, I know Landon's priorities lie with college right now, so I have no idea what kind of time he is devoting to pool.

Anthony plays even w Hunter Lombardo.. That list may not be as deep as you think it is.. He has beat Hunter in a few Tourney Finals here in S FL & you can almost be assured he will make the finals of the majority of tourneys he enters.

no doubt landon has done well and beaten some good players but if i was to ask how many people would put their own money on landon over wan can, we wouldn't get that many people taking up that offer. He's americas future in pool with that thorpe kid that appleton is promoting so much but i just dont feel he can compete with some of the chinese and taiwanese juniors. we must remember that when wu won the world championship, he wasn't even the no1 taiwanese junior which is just a scary thought imo.

Justin Bergman, Justin hall, , Brandon Shuff, Shane Winters, Danny Smith, Chip Compton, Oscar Dominguez, Adam Smith, Landon Shuffet. Those are a few you could bet the house on Anthony playing even.
