Best Pool Ball Rack for 9 Ball and Straight Pool

People don't use 9 ball racks. It has sort of evolved into a joke in the pool community. If you are not aware of this, now you are.

The presumption is based on a significant amount of data.


That said, the Delta 13 Elite is the best triangle rack I've used by a mile. I got one when they first came out. By "got", I mean Allen Hopkins gave me one. Not sure I would have shelled out the cash, but if I had it to spend I definitely would.

I kept an eye on Ebay searching for used racks over a few months. Eventually found this gem. Built like a fine cabinet and solid as anything out there. I'm guessing PROspeed is no longer making these or even in business but it looks like the wood racks sold by Diamond are similar. They are probably not $14 like this was.

Not that I've used it but that price included the matching 9 ball rack.

Absolutely beautiful. Those are what I am looking for. I'll try researching the company and thanks for posting these! I may just buy 2 or 3 9 ball racks and display them throughout my house...I don't care if people think the 9 ball rack is useless I still want one.
 
I decided to get the Delta Select and some inserts. Oh and I bought an extra one that I'm going to cut in half and weld into a 9 ball rack. I'll post pics!
 
what about one of the 2 aluminum folding racks they both claim to rack tighter than any wood rack on the market.
