Why is jack white not mentioned on the cover ?It's a good book but at that price you could have a whole library of other good pool books.

Here's the cover. I think you mistook the generic "we don't have a picture of the book but here is a placeholder" block of color for the actual cover. If you look closely, a lot of those fake place-holder covers on internet book sales sites say in very small print, "This is not the actual cover."Why is jack white not mentioned on the cover ?

That would be Jack himself on the cover.
“Play Your Best Pool”Which of his books do you recommend for beginners/guys without much table time?
Lot handier in there than in someone else's house.EDRJR, Howdy;

except that you swim in a poolI can advise you to read the book Total Immersion: How to Swim Better, Faster and Easier by Terry Laughlin, John Delves. The drills and instructions in this book are giving me a new way to look at swimming.
Ughh. I hate when that happens. A new book is something I look upon with reverence. Sure, it will eventually get bent and scuffed--I've already dropped my Mark Wilson book off a shelf twice and it's banged up--yep, that hurt!--but starting off with a book in pristine condition is part of the fun."Play Your Best Pool" arrived, but I'm sending it back for a replacement. Amazon sent it in a padded mailer, and the pages got dog eared on both ends.![]()
Chappelle's books are great.Cappelle- Play Your Best Pool
I have not read, but have heard good things about Martin's The 99 Critical Shots in Pool and both of Robert Byrne's books.
Just bought it!I recommend Mark Wilson’s “Play Great Pool” and another book I really liked back in the 70s when I was in HS is the book in the link below by a Snooker champion from back in the 50s, named Horace Lindrum.
