Not really a fan of the everest. It's an ok tip but I think something a little harder may be better. Any suggestions?

Hi Travis,

Kamui Black Medium is a bit harder.
i liked the Everest, too. But changed to Kamui Black Medium ( or Kamui MS *non-black*), both very good. No need to be trimmed again since 2 months or so :)

Kamui makes all shots-

For everyone included - The tip repair man and You- Best experiences with blk kamui. They last longer ,hold shape very well. Last o soo long!! I use the Tip for aiming too . It shows up better in blk- mark The blks are made to last forever-years.

a gimmick cue wouldn't be complete without a gimmick tip.. so get a Kamui because ..."if you can't impress them with your game.. impress them with your gear"

I hear southwest is creating a special chalk from the sands of king tuts tomb $1000/cube limited edition get in line now...

the best tip for predator shafts?? don't buy one:thumbup:

Can't recommend a Kamui black medium highly enough. It's a world away from the Everest's, which are terrible tips.

Quality tips are worth their weight in gold IMO.

Tips I've used on my 314-2.
Everest, Morri med., Kamui Brown med. soft, Kamui Black soft & I've used a buddy's Z-2 with a Kamui Black med.
My favorite is the black soft. But everyones different.

i have tried sooooooooo many tips on my 314-2 over the years. Every time i try a new one I always went back to triangle, they hold shape good , last along time, and I get great control, and they only cost $.60 not $15-20.

Triangle all the way..... great shape, control and the best bang for the buck imo

I like the hit of a triangle but the juice you can get is incomparable to a KB.

OP maybe try a milkdud..cheap and it hits very well, like a medium-hard imo

With due respect to all who have opinions on this matter ... Predator could put virtually any tip the want on their cues. Kamui is unique in that regard because I believe that shaft manufacturers simply can't get them at a low enough price.

I use a Tiger Sniper tip which I prefer slightly to the Everest, but I do think that the Everest tips play real well .. just a bit too soft for my liking.

Everest milk duds sold on here work Awesome for me. I have them on all my shafts now. Hit great and get plenty of spin

Tried everything under the sun including Moori S/M and Kamui black/brown. Kamui black is like rubber and makes strange sound to me.
I always go back to triangle.
