Just posted this over on the mechanics subforum and would like to solicite advice here as well.
I just bought a rather used (circa 1975) valley table that came with some usable, but rather dirty cloth. It looks like liquid stains, beer I'm sure. Any suggestions as to how to get these stains out? I don't really care if they never fully disappear, but it would be nice to lessen their obviousness. The cloth is typical of valley, though I don't know what kind. I think that it has some type of "rubberized" backing or maybe the underside is just treated. Would a damp cloth help this out? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
