Yeah, that's why I was posting because I don't see me anywhere!!!! I really don't play quite THAT bad!! Are they ashamed to put me on there? Tee-Hee..... just kidding... just thought it was wierd that everyone else but me was listed!!!

Good luck to you Linda.... I intend to be ringside (if I'm not playing) to watch you kick some Sigel butt!

...........Inexperienced in the pool scene they might be,inexperienced at running a profitable book they are not and stupid they are most cetainly not.The skinny overall odds they are offering will of course in part help to balance/fund a proportion of any liabilities they might incur on any particular player as a result of their inexperience in this market;)

Hohmann 1st....original odds 20/1
Manalo 2nd......original odds 16/1
Orcullo 3rd.......original odds 18/1
Reyes 4th.......original odds 14/1

Ridiculously short odds in a 200 runner field.Bookies do not give away money and despite their inexperience in this sport it transpires they were not far wrong in their assessments of players chances and that most of us were completely wrong in ours.

There is a deafening silence now from all those who pre -tournament were rushing to tell us how much value was available in various 200,300 and 400/1 runners and to ridicule my suggestion that overall the odds were not at all generous.

I know that with the current online betting problems for USA the issue may not arise in the next tournament but we really shouldn't place bets with bookies when they insult our intelligence with a "200% book".Placing bets in such a market only screws it up for the rest of us.We should all hold our money until they are forced commercially to offer reasonable odds:(

Heck, I'm not embarrased on my action. I took the 5 best players with high odds payouts that I knew of. Van Boening, Walden, Wetch, Schmidt and Matlock. 2 of them at 400 to 1, and the rest at 200 to 1. I bet $50 and had 3 shots at $2k and 2 shots at $4k.

It's just another good old fashioned horse race, and no long shots came in. Play again next time. :)
